Brig. Gen. John E. McCall replaces Maj. Gen. Edward T. Lemonyne

Major General Edward T. Lemonyne, commander of the 7th Division, Department of the Eastern Frontier, has been assigned other duties within the army. He is expected to turn over command of the division to Brigadier General John E. Mcall on July 2nd. McCall is commander of the 2nd Brigade in the division. Brigade command will fall on Colonel Francis Achuff of the 24th Texas Infantry.
