Losses on Day 7

Losses on Day 7 fell heaviest on Strang's Cavalry Brigade (1st Brigade, Cavalry Division, Army of the Arkansas). The losses there contributed to an elevation in quality among several of the regiments in Wales' Division (1st Division, I Corps, Department of the Eastern Frontier).
