The finale of THE OZARKS CAMPAIGN will take place in January 2015 when the simulation resumes after a holiday break. To make it end with a bang, there will be an objective: Cross Plain Town.
Cross Plain Town will have a major objective that must be held by at least 1,000 men and has a radius of 500 men. If either army controls this objective (lit up in-game) at the end of the simulation, it can claim victory. Because of the holiday break, the simulation will be extended into February with the following amendments to the rules:
1. Infantry Corps may move two towns per strategic turn, as long as it is unopposed by enemy forces.
2. Arrival at Cross Plain or any map with an enemy presence will be at the edge of the map and the unit marched from there.
3. Units start from their Day 8, 6:30 positions
4. Next orders due on Friday January 9th.
Happy Holidays to all!
Note:
- Smithville Road connects to North Fork to the east and Franklin to the west.
- Union Road connects to Pilot Hill to the north
- Newburg Road connects to Benbrook Mills to the south
- The road from the J.H. Smith / T. Smith Junction past the G. Sheid Farm does not connect to any other town on the campaign map.
