There was no fighting on the 7th and both armies continued their movement throughout the day. Herling's and Dibble (Holcomb's Brigade) are bivoacked in close proximity to each other at Willow, with skirmish lines out near the Bentley Farm. Marple's Brigade (1/Cav/XXVI) is uncomfortably bivouacked on the Greenville-Arkadelphia Road, with infantry a mile to its east and an unidentified cavalry brigade a mile to its west.
Confederates are reported to be near Pleasant Ridge. The Federals who had been in Arkadelphia are reported to have moved towards Cache Marsa, with those that had been in Rockport reported to have marched southward towards Princeton or Hampton.
