Assault on the Moore Branch Line

1st and 2nd Divisions of Adams' III Corps (AOA) adjusted their alignment, started marching forward and have broke into a double quick assault on the II Corps at around 8:10 a.m.. With their batteries moving up behind in close support, the two AOA divisions are descending into the ravine at Moore Branch, primarily in front of McCall's 2nd Division, II Corps, DEF and the right of Sinclair's 1st Division. Some of the Federal infantry are fully protected by the bank of the ravine and resting briefly, others are taking canister fire from guns above.  At 8:15 a.m., the outcome is far from clear.
