The Battle at Sylamore Bottom - Day 8: 6:30 a.m.

The II Corps AOA (US) has crossed all of its infantry to the east side of the White River, where it is engaged against III Corps DEF (CS). AOA has one battery and a cavalry brigade on the west side of the river.

During the war, Sylamore was on the west bank. Modern-day Sylamore is on the east bank, beyond Sylamore Bottom.
