When an officer is reported as deceased by the TC2M game in-game during WIA5, he may or may not be killed in action. A die is rolled and he may be fine with only a few bruises. He may be wounded at one of several levels of severity, which will affect his performance. Or he may actually be killed. The outcome of the roll will determine what is reported to the player and any adjustments that need to be made to the game files before the next day of the simulated campaign.
One possible option is that the office may be captured. If he is captured, he may or may not reveal various levels of intelligence. How much is revealed is also determined by a random roll. The probability tables are based on the officer's commander attribute for loyalty. The lower the loyalty, rating the more likely it is that the officer will give some intelligence to the enemy. The higher the loyalty attribute rating, the more likely he is to keep his mouth shut.
